Politically this strategy looked very good. However, militarily it was ludicrous. War is the one arena in which politicians have no place. War is the military's sole purpose. Therefore, the U. S. Military should be allowed to conduct any war, conflict, or police action that it has been committed to without political interference or control because of the problems and hidden interests which are always present when dealing with politics.
United States involvement in the Vietnam War actually began in 1950 when ...

The Movie Bugsy
... Greenberg-Elliot Gould –Bugsy’s friend from NY
Meyer Lansky-Ben Kingsley –Bugsy’s boss
Warren Beatty was the main character in this film. Virginia Hill was Bugsy’s love interest. These two actors did a wonderful job of acting in a manner congruent with the times of the 40’s. The cast was sprinkled with tremendous talent such as Harvey Keitel, Ben Kingsley, and Elliot Gould. As a whole I think the cast did a magnificent job taking the viewers to an era of America, which is not easily forgotten by those who lived through it. A time when the world was being destroyed by the Nazi Germans was over shadowed by America’s self-involvement. A time when Amer ...

Britain wanted to ship war materials over the Atlantic, but there was an

the cargo manifests so that the Allies as well as the Germans would know what is
being shipped. Britain found a loophole in this. New cargo added at the last
minute did not go on the original manifest, thus a supplementary manifest would
be submitted 4 or 5 days later. Also, du ...

... mentor. Mozart slips into insanity while his music is dark and takes him longer to produce. Everyone begins to forget about Mozart as Salieri begins to be the composer he once was.
The most important person in the whole movie is Salieri. Even though the film is about the life of Mozart, Salieri gives a different point of view than anyone saw it before. Salieri's life centered around the desire to become Mozart, which eventually turned him against himself and everything he ever believed in. Salieri was convinced he was the best composer in Vienna, until he meets Mozart. The central idea of the film is how he becomes so frustrated with himself and his music, that h ...

Here he addresses the change he wants to make in his life and states that he would like to swap places with the business men in the room.
