Creative Writing: Bob's World
... that they could go out on
a date but, he knew there was several reasons why they would not make a good
couple. First Lucille had told him that she did not like it if her boyfriend was
a lot smarter and better at sports than her. After-all they were so different.
She worked so hard to get stuff done while he needed very little time if any at
all. She was the captain of the soccer and basketball teams while, if his knee
was better, he could beat her at any sport. He knew they were just so different
they were fated not to be together.
The two friends chatted their way to school. She talked about her sports
games and practices and how much homework she had while he ...

Sometimes, my mom and I are so annoyed by the noise from the ceiling at night. Heavy walking, loudly music, children banging around stairs… these noises bug me sometimes! Whenever I could not stand it anymore, I would slam my door room, warning them to stop it. But my request from slamming the door is rarely satisfied.
At the corner of the apartment is a garbage-c ...

Alone With Nature
... the
similarities in color, nothing else seems to be the same- they all tower 2 or 3
feet above the dark, rich soil. They sway playfully in unison with the warm
caressing breeze, carefully merging the two scents into one fresh, clean
fragrance.
You pry yourself away from the immense meadow, still filled with many
unexplored treasures and turn back into the foliage covered depths of the forest.
The sun is comfortably placed in front of the cotton candy clouds, in the midst
of the soft blue sky. The occasional bird soars through in a last minuet attempt
to catch a worm so it may feed the yearning mouths of it's young. The rough dirt
trail ends and you are bro ...

Personal Writing: Letter To The Future From 1996
... for at least one run in the park every day.
I remember when we first got him. We knew as soon as we saw him looking
out at us from his little kennel that we had to have him.
I like shooting, Clay Pigeon shooting and Air Rifle Shooting. For Clay
Pigeon Shooting I have a 12 bore shotgun. To have a shotgun you need a
shotgun license. Just recently there has been an outcry for a ban on
privately owned handguns after the Dunblain massacre, which was when a
lunatic broke into a school and gunned down a class of children and their
teacher. It was tragic. The shooting I do is just for sport and is well
supervised., this handgun ban could also bring a tightening on g ...

Visual Deficit
... me: my time, speed, calories burned, and distance. The only part that is really important to me is the time so all I did was set my kitchen timer for fifteen minutes. This was not only easy because I could estimate one quarter of the way around the timer, but also because it has little lines and numbers that stick out.
Physically I got through my workout as usual but emotionally I did not. Within the first ten minutes of having the glasses on I felt sad. I already missed seeing my surroundings with unimpaired vision. There is nothing to interesting to look at in our exercise room but I actually missed reading the same old posters that I read over and over ...

Tanzanian lion-hunting arrow. All of these things I acquired traveling

Below this array of seemingly ancient things sits the large Sony
stereo system I received for my birthday this year. This hulk of machinery
adds contrast to the display above it as well as giving my room high-
quality sound. A turn to the left now unveils a bookshelf containing: all
of my hardback books, my alarm clock, my trophies and ribbons, and most of
my CD's an ...

Creative Writing: There Isn't Much Time
... Some of these reasons sounds legitimate, but I think these
reasons are just excuses for people's fear of failure, fear of lost security,
and need for pressure.
Back high school, I had a friend, Eric, who dropped out of school
because of bad grades. As his friend, I knew he was doing fine until the period

the exam because he was afraid of failure. Since Eric's older brothers had
achieved excellence academic records and great careers, Eric' parents expected
him to follow his brothers' foot step. As the result, ...

Psychiatric Evaluation Of Guy Montag
... his mind, due to the high amount of self-
conversation. Bio-chemical analysis may reveal a cranial disorder.
2. Background Of Family (hypothesize if necessary)
A) Mother
His Mother was a quick-thinker, she was usually apart from her son for
an unknown reason (perhaps work), we can deduce this from the time when
there was a blackout in his childhood, and Montag and his mother had a rare

B) Father
We can deduce that Montag's father wasn't very attentive to him,
perhaps because of his dedicated duty as a fireman. Now, in adulthood,
Montag looks upon Beatty for advice regarding life.
C) Siblings None.
D) Home Environment
