Dear Friend,
The choice of whether or not to read this message all the way
through may have important consequences for you as the events

Bar Mitzvah
... or oaths. Wherever we look at people as leaders, they do
something to prove they are unfit for this title. Sports figures,
politicians, actors, and actresses, have been looked up to as role models
and leaders, and many of them have been brought down by their own immoral
standards. Some of today's lawyers bend the truth. People, who deserve a
life in prison walk free today because of people who twist the facts.
Their is a definite similarity between those who have power but do
not have moral standards today and Aaron's sons thousands of years ago. In
all these years people have not changed. Now people have technology that
allows them to break laws even easi ...

... merchant, peasant, and the outcaste. These five major classes are further subdivided into hundreds of other subclasses and since great emphasis is placed on social classes in the Hindu culture it affects the job you hold and the person you marry. The many people among these various castes are still encouraged to live a very religious life marked by certain religious/social stages in life.
The Hindu beliefs in stages of life are more religious then the western philosophies of life stages. Hindu’s believe that the earliest stage of life begins around eight years old and last till around twenty, in this time period the person is “laying the religious foundation f ...

After the stoning of Stephen in Acts 7:54-8:1, the church was persecuted
and scattered, "On that day a great persecution broke out against the church at
Jerusalem, and all except the apostles were scattered throughout Judea and
Samaria. Godly men buried Stephen and mourned deeply for him. But Saul began to
destroy the church. Going from house to house, he dragged off men and women and
put them in prison" Acts 8:1-3. In Acts 9:26-27, "Saul tries to join the

The Existence Of God
... I have combined Malcolm, Anselm, and
Descartes’ theories of how God exists. This is it:
1. God is that being that is absolutely perfect and no one more
perfect exists. {No one more perfect than God can exist} (Descarte)
2. If God exists, his existence is logically necessary
considering he is “all knowing, all powerful, and all good.” {Since he
is all knowing, all powerful, and all good he must exist because his
powers are unlimited} (Malcolm)
3. Therefore the possibility of conceiving a being than which
nothing greater can be conceived entails the logical necessity of the real
existence of such a being. (Anselm)
4. Therefore to say that God ...

Impermanence, Selflessness, And Dissatisfaction
... holds that there is no immortal soul or
external Self that exists in each individual; (Fadiman & Frager,1994:p 545)
selflessness is closely connected with impermanence. Dissatisfaction is a
larger concept entir ely- it involves the acknowledgment that suffering exists.
The world is founded on suffering, (DeSilva, 1991:p 21) and once anything
becomes a problem there is bound to be suffering, unsatisfactoriness, or
conflict- conflict between our desires and the state of reality.
Dissatisfaction is the most difficult characteristic of existence to apply to
one's life, as it involves not only the acceptance of this state, but also
outlines one on how to treat and cur ...

The Bible And The Word "Inspire"
... false statements.
There are times in the Bible and in Biblical history that the prophets
themselves are confronted with people doubting the validity of the scripture,
and trying to discredit it. "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for
teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the man
of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." Here Timothy is
relating a charge given to him by Paul. As a story that is being told, it can be
easily inferred that Paul had confronted opposition to the belief that scripture
was in fact inspired by God, and therefore valid. Using literary criticism
allows us to stay on the surface of wh ...

School Prayer Should Be Allowed

in establishing a democracy. They also recognized a space of freedom
between the government and the people, whereby the government could not
force an individual or group to do something they did not want to do. The
government is not upholding their part of the constitution. They are trying
to tell people that saying prayer in public school is unconstitutional.
In fact, prayer in public school is legal, so is prayer in church
and prayer in stores etc... . The area which is not legal is when students
or teachers pray when engaged in school activities or instruction. This
means students or teachers may pray in an informal setting, s ...

God And His Love
... by their faith, not physically, but spiritually.
To physically touch or feel something only gives your fingertips the reassurance that it is there. But, what does that do for you? To touch or feel with your heart gives your whole body the reassurance of life and love. To touch or feel with your spirit, it more importatn. It takes your ideas and emotions and makes them your own. Spirituality is your life. It is the one and only, it is the absolute idea that can and will, reassure you of God, life, love and yourself. God is defined as the maker and ruler of the world; Supreme Being. God has at least a million different titles and maker of the world is ...

Argument About The Exist Of God
... system account for the laws of logic. First they are immaterial and
universal, and how could anything immaterial and universal be accounted for in a
naturalistic (matter only) universe. Second if God has established these laws of
reasoning then there would be no atheism. An Atheist wants to believe in laws of
logic which are universal in application, but in order to escape the ultimate
implications of this idea ( there is a God who imposes universal standards of
reason.), the Atheist will try to maintain that the “laws of logic” are merely “
conventions” of general agreement amongst them. This is philosophically non-
acceptable, if logic were simply a matter of co ...
