This essay will be comparing the novel Lord of the Flies, by
William Golding, and the movie Lord of the Flies. The book is a great
adventure story and so is the movie. There are many aspects to the book
that make it great.
The novel takes place during a war. I get this impression from the
fact ....
Middle of essay .... with the defects in human nature. That is actually what
the book’s theme is. Human nature is in no way perfect and that somewhere
inside all of us is that wildness waiting to get out.
There were a lot of significant changes made in the film adaptation.
First, and most importantly, was the fact that there was an adult on the
island to start with. In the novel the adult figure is what symbolizes
order and civilization and that is why things got so bad on the island.
