....didn’t like this whole incident at all. Ralph wanted to stay humanized. Another reason I would align myself with Ralph is that he cared and loved for everyone. Ralph was the one who was unhappy and felt bad when the others murdered Simon. Ralph was also the one who wanted to be the hero. He was the one trying to convince everyone of keeping the fire going as a rescue signal till Jack would come and burn it out when a ship would pass by.
