She is also the narrator who is a part of the story. There are minor characters who are not very involved in the story. They just show up for a brief moment and then disappear. For example the character Lawrence who finally dies from emphysema. John is also a minor flat character that is talked about just a couple of times. He is not involved in the story at all..... |
