Middle of essay ....n Eastern Tennessee, and I always dreaded going, because of the lack of activities to do. This all changed the summer that I was 14 years old when introduced to the exciting river sport. The most exciting experience was yet to come; all the mayhem was upon us when we entered The Powerhouse, a series of rapids on the lower end of The Ocoee.
The first rapid in The Powerhouse was The Corkscrew, aptly named for the small and twisting shoot one is allowed to go through, and pass safely. We spiral.... |
