The Orange Colored Sphere

I have before me an orange colored sphere. At a distance it appears to be a plain old orange. If I take a closer look, however it is not plain in the least little bit. A whole new world opens up to me.
From the outside the main color is orange. But there are a few discolorations along the surf ....
Middle of essay
.... orange. The outer edge of the orange starts out colored like the skin but it fades into a creamier shade of orange. Now is where it really gets strange. It looks as though the inner core is divided up into ten cells, each of which is a different shape and size. Most of these have the basic shape of a triangle. Each cell is a darker, deeper orange than the rest of the fruit. Within each cell are hundreds of other cells, and all of these are divided by a slightly lighter shade of orange. .... |
