Christmas 1996 promised to be one of the best times of my eighteen-year life. I was on my own in Florida! My parents had moved to Indiana earlier in the year and I managed to stay in my tropical paradise. I had a nice job, a nice apartment and best of all a boyfriend. I had everything I need ....

....about it. Something was missing or maybe I was coming down with a cold; I just couldn't figure it out.
On Christmas Eve my boyfriend had to visit relatives so I was on my own. On my own meant in my room with my little, blinking ceramic tree and a bag of Tacos. I knew I had to get out of there for awhile. I grabbed up my tacos, a beach towel and headed for the beach.
