.... to check my blind spot and spotted a police car containing a police officer who was signaling me to pull over. I tried to brake hard enough thinking that the officer would go away but it was no use. Dread and embarrassment overtook me as the officer approached the car. And all my friends had to say was "Great, now we're going to be late!" That’s what I get for doing my friends a favor and instead of them taking the bus I was nice enough to give them a ride. But that was the least of my concern.... |
