Some of my friends and I made a visit to the zoo last Sunday. We took a taxi there and reached the zoo at 9:00 A.M.

.... threw some pieces of sugar cane. One elephant used its trunk to catch the sugar cane and lifted up to its mouth. Then the elephant hastily chewed it.
We moved from the wild animal area to see the birds. There were many different and beautiful colored ones. Some sang and chirped melodiously and others quacked noisily. From this area we walked to where the deer and antelope were kept. We felt as if we were wandering in a jungle. We were so interested in watching the deer that we lost track.... |
