different issues. The issues were the centralization of all of the one
room school houses [Newbury had about nine in all] and the bond issue.
The issue of centralization was passed.
However, the bond issue was unsuccessful and failed. After being
unsuccessful with the vote, the Board decided to lower the bond issue to
