          Beginning of essay 
My mother and I come from two different generations (This is too obvious to state.  I suggest beginning with sentence two).  There is a thirty-two year gap between the two of us and many changes occurred during that time.  My mom spent her teen years in Woodland with one older, and one younger sist ....
          Middle of essay ....her worked hard, but didn't get paid for any of her accomplishments.  She worked around the house, (no comma) doing the dishes, the laundry, and taking care of her nephew; she grew up fast and without much of a childhood.  When I turned the age of sixteen, my parents were all over my back for not having a job.  They said I couldn't have a car or new clothes unless I found a job and began to work.
