Creon, the new king of Thebes, condemns his son's disobedient fiancé, , to death for her religious beliefs that disagree with Creon's order. He uses her to set an example for the entire city of Thebes, for she is the first person to ever deliberately disobey Creon's order not the bury her late brot ....
