For a second, if only brief, it lifts us from the depths of cynicsm, and brings relief from over the top mushiness, giving a perspective that is true to life, and real, one to identify with because all emotions and thoughts expressed are actually human ones. It balances everything out, and even just for one fleeting moment before out societal cynicism engulfs us once again, makes everything seem like its going to be ok.
