, one of the greatest English poets and a major figure in the Romantic movement, was born in 1795 in Moorfields, London. His father died when he was eight and his mother when he was fourteen; these sad circumstances drew him particularly close to his two brothers, George and Tom, and his sister Fan ....

Keats wrote 'To Autumn' directly after abandoning 'The Fall of Hyperion', during September of 1819. It is among the last of his poems and it is often regarded as the most achieved of his odes. Keats once said about Byron 'He describes what he sees - I describe what I imagine, mine is the hardest task'. Its full of excellent picture language like:
All fill all fruits with ripeness to the core,
To swell the gourd, and plump the hazel shells
