Middle of essay ....ribe how the boy interacts with his father. He ‘hangs on like death, ’as the pair romp with such a vengence that the pans almost ‘slid from the kitchen shelf.’
The boy describes his mother’s facial expression as frowning. Its easy to determine that she was probably angry with her husband because he had too much to drink, and she also didn’t want her son exposed to this type of behavior. It was late and she wanted her son to be in bed.
