Beginning of essay
The basic foundation of a good marriage is based on trust, and that
virtue was somehow destroyed with John Proctor’s act of infidelity. It
also consists of communication, which they never really had, and due of
this lack of interaction, John was easily caught in Abigail’s web of
deception and mani ....
Middle of essay ....ey had. Despite Abigail’s lies and false attempts, she could
never have what they shared, love. John loved his wife, not Abigail. He
clearly showed his true feelings for Elizabeth and paid the price for his
impure act with his life, and even through death, his love prevailed.
Love was something that endured when all else seemed to have
perished. It withstood all tests, overcame all obstacles, and truly was
felt by John and Elizabeth. Even with the greatest test of time, love
endured.
