Beginning of essay
I had recently seen Dazed and Confused on the USA Network. First
of all my Dad thought I was weird because that was the first time I saw it.
Secondly he told me it would be better uncut, on video. I liked how it
dealt with disfunctional youth. Suburbia also looked like it dealt with the
same stuf ....
Middle of essay
....e worst off. Richard Linklater may
be trying to punish the guys that where always cooler that him when he was
younger, by not letting them get what they want. In The Newton Boys the
guy could not make money by pumping oil because the area was dry. He was
caught robbing a train and sent to jail. In Suburbia the guy lost his
girlfriend and was the only one left without a hope in succeeding in his
life. The guy from Dazed and Confused just had no clue what was going on
and had little or no fut.... |
