Also included in that exhibition was a piece called “Phi Beta red Kappa” , the story behind the piece is that of a young Negro man standing still holding luggage, he has around his neck a Phi Beta Kappa key, which is symbolic of a college graduate with honors and fraternity (PBK) brother. This piece suggested that the only work the young man could get was as a porter, otherwise known as a red-cap. This piece was also a wood .... |
