As William Golding brings his novel to a close, he uses the most gruesome scene in the book to get his point across. Jack and some of the other's in his tribe went to Ralph's campsite in an attempt to steal fire. Seeing that the fire was out, they became enraged and stormed Piggy and Ralph's tent. There was a scuffle and Piggy's specs were stolen. The next day Ralph and Piggy went to retrieve the glasse.... |
