The site has not been used for active power generation from 1984. The only remaining commissioned equipment is a 132/33kv substation, which was to remain in operation till 1999. The buildings are slowly decaying and are heavily fouled by the pigeon’s nestings. Vandal damage is limited mainly to broken windows and forced doors although there has been some instrumentation removal and damage.
