Life Long Friendship
... time with idle conversation, or just being there, can often be as beneficial to recovery as some of our fancy medicine.
Friendships are strengthened in hospitals. They are watered and fed in our corridors and rooms and in our cafeterias and chapels. We find friends in many ways, but we often solidify our friendships in adversity. During illness we see the real caring and concerns of others. Being present during the adverse times often permanently bonds humans together.
Of course, not everyone can maintain friends from our childhood as I have been able to do. People are mobile, they move from city to city or merely change neighborhoods. Yet, regardless of t ...

The Inauguration
... to destroy all that we
have accomplished. It is time for us as nations and as individuals to set
aside our long-standing feuds and unite.
The tides of an unwinnable war are upon us and we must seek refuge upon
higher ground lest we be swept away by the flood. The confederacy is no
more. Whatever semblance of unity and protection it once provided is a
phantom - a memory. With our enemies left unchecked, whom will you turn to
for protection?
The devastation brought by the alien invaders is self-evident. We have seen
our homes and communities destroyed by the calculated blows of the Protoss.
We have seen first-hand our friends and loved ones consumed by the

They have basically converted a microwave into a modular operative unit for linking deprivitors, or MOULD for short. They will not release any more information than that, as they believe this could trigger world peace, and would rather have all the credit to themselves. They are certain that there is no harm in long term mould digesting, but they state they are not 100% sure, as further tests are to be held. People And Places
... about the pool hall. It is located right across from the police station, which is rather unusual for a club. As soon as we walked in, a huge cloud of smoke blinded us. Right away, we noticed that everybody knew each other. It was like a small family. What was more amazing is how everybody blended in so perfectly and how they matched the place like a puzzle.
As we were wandering around, the owner came up to us and welcomed us to his club, noticing that it was our first time there. Now that I have known him for over a year and a half, I can say that he is one of the nicest people I've ever met. Speaking with an Italian accent, always gesturing, dr ...

Tomato Fishing

herbs and a peach tree named Packwood (named after creeping under my skirt
once too often). Everything was going along nicely. Then we went on
vacation....
We came back to find a sea of green. Tomatoes covered everything. We
had to transplant two of the eggplants, and we lost the one with the red
and white stripes. Most of the herbs had disappeared. The peppers and
Packwood were ok, but we hadn't planted any tomatoes in that box. But the
tomatoes in the next box over were trying to invade it. Tomatoes overflowed
everywhere.
After a few weeks of picking, I noticed a few things. The first was

If There Was A Revolution In 1998
... or our country’s other political status. , I think we need to change that, we need to make other issues more important. In addition, stop exploitation, oppression, racism, sexism, and discrimination against gays and lesbians.
Secondly, , We also need to look at what we are doing to our environment. We are walking all over it, not thinking twice before dropping trash on the ground. Our country needs to recycle… that is the end of it. We are filling our earth with trash… just think what could be in place of all those garbage dumps. If there was a revolution, I think that there should be a big change in the way we are taking care of our earth… because if we don’t ...
